I am a first generation college graduate from UoP. I was accepted and did attend traditional colleges but raising a family and a husband that works a bizarre schedule, UoP was the only way. There was nothing easy about it, I have learned and applied vast amounts of knowledge and skills. I have moved to a higher paying job which is also equivalent to a 12,000 per year salary increase and have just enrolled in a Masters at UoP. I wasn't trying to make a judgement -- just exploring whether the comparison to "subprime" made any sense. My sense is that it plays both ways.
